The Elixir Elixir
After years of musing about potions and elixirs, a friend introduced us to Dr. Giulietta Octavio, a somatic healer and doctor of integrative traditional Chinese medicine with a private practice in San Francisco’s Dogpatch district.
During the pandemic, she found that her patients were drinking too much alcohol to manage their anxiety, so she put her skills in phytochemistry to work by brewing up a line of non-alcoholic cocktail bitters and elixirs made from mushrooms, adaptogens and honey. They taste like amaro, lift the mood and help heal the symptoms of stress and adrenal fatigue. Her company is called Ceybon (which means “It’s good” in French).
In honor of Elixir Design’s 30th year, it was beyond good of her to let us label one as our own. She’s a wonderful person and her products are excellent.
