Yes, this is the same description as our notebooks. Our journals are the same as our notebooks, just a different size.
One of us is still processing feelings about desperately trying to cajole Chronicle Books into producing blank journals ten years before the Moleskin notebook was released… one of those fist-bumping ‘see I told you so’s’ in the dark. We acknowledge that there are a few near perfect journals out in the marketplace that we love… the Moleskin and the Leuchtturm. The Decomposition Book is the best named for sure. We couldn’t say enough good things about them but we digress.
Please consider one more journal. Ours is metal wire-o. This means no plastic and can be folded back on itself. The paper is of a nice quality with low “show through” which means you can't see through it very much. There is a window on the cover so you can easily write on a sheet of paper about what lives inside and the colors are the nicest we can find anywhere. We have them available in ruled, plain and dot styles. If you can read between the lines, we sweated the space between (the lines) Should it be 6 mm, 6.5mm or 7mm?). Depending on how people respond to this, we might even add some with different spacing because this matters quite a lot to certain people. Perhaps best of all, we wanted to price it really fairly relative to its quality. All the shareholders in those very large greedy companies making notebooks with crap paper may have a lot more money than we do, but we can sleep well knowing that we can wake up and write our morning pages in a well-made, well-priced journal.
